Outdoor Optical Turnstile - 35" Height

The Outdoor Optical Swing Speed Gate with 35-Inch Clear Panels is an automated pedestrian access-control system designed for both outdoor and indoor environments where controlled passage, durability and architectural appearance are important. The clear swinging panels provide visible physical separation without creating the enclosed appearance of a conventional turnstile, making the system suitable for commercial properties, office buildings, campuses, public facilities, transportation areas and other controlled pedestrian entrances.

The 35-inch clear panels provide a visible pedestrian barrier while maintaining open sight lines through the entrance. Passage widths can be customized from approximately 25.6 inches to 41.3 inches, allowing the system to accommodate standard pedestrian traffic, wider accessible passage, wheelchairs, carts, luggage and other site-specific requirements.

The gate uses automated swinging panels and optical sensing to monitor movement through the passage. Access-control equipment can be integrated to authorize entry and exit, while the sensing system helps identify unauthorized passage and other security conditions.

Outdoor Construction and Installation

Designed for outdoor applications, the system incorporates construction and protection suitable for exposed installations while maintaining a clean architectural appearance. Site conditions should be evaluated for weather exposure, drainage, mounting surface and electrical requirements before installation.

Installation should be coordinated with the architectural, electrical and access-control plans before the finished floor or paving is completed. Depending on the site and selected configuration, the gate may be installed using direct floor anchoring or an approved mounting/baseplate arrangement.

For existing concrete or finished surfaces, drilling locations should be checked for reinforcement, utilities, radiant heating and other concealed conditions. Where trenching or floor penetration is required, power, access-control and communications routes should be planned before installation.

Passage widths can be configured from approximately 25.6 inches to 41.3 inches, allowing the gate to be adapted to the available floor plan and intended use.
