Vehicle-Guard XL, Wide Barrier Gate – 20' to 28'

The Vehicle-Pro XL Wide Barrier Gate is an automatic vehicle-access barrier designed for wide entrances where standard parking barriers are not sufficient. With barrier-arm configurations for openings from approximately 20 to 28 feet, it is suited for commercial, industrial and high-traffic entrances used by pickups, delivery vehicles and semi-trucks. The system is designed for controlled vehicle access where a single wide barrier can manage the entrance efficiently.

Arms can be cut down and capped either at the factory before shipping or at the field.

Access Control Ready

Access Control Ready: Compatible with any and all access control systems where a low-voltage or dry-contact signal is presented by the control panel to open the barrier gate.

The automatic barrier can integrate with card readers, RFID readers, keypads, intercoms, long-range vehicle readers, license-plate recognition systems, remote controls and other access-control or parking-management equipment capable of providing the appropriate relay signal.

The barrier provides adjustable opening and closing times as fast as approximately 6 seconds and uses an integrated control system with a built-in two-channel vehicle-loop detector. The control system can be expanded with additional modules, while inputs and outputs can be configured for different access-control and traffic-management requirements.

The barrier boom is designed with foam edge protection, and an optional security skirt with anti-climb extension is available for applications requiring increased visual and perimeter control. The cabinet uses extruded aluminum profiles with a stainless-steel base frame, both powder coated for corrosion protection. The drive system combines the motor, motor control and gearing into a compact unit designed to provide high torque with low power consumption and dependable operation in demanding weather conditions.

The Vehicle-Pro XL is particularly appropriate for factory and plant entrances, industrial properties, distribution facilities, company roads, commercial properties and other wide vehicle-access points where standard parking barriers do not provide sufficient lane coverage.
