Portable Full Height Turnstile – Tandem

The portable tandem full height turnstile provides two controlled pedestrian lanes in a compact, heavy-duty security entrance designed specifically for active construction sites and other temporary or changing environments.

Its portable, “drop anywhere” design allows the turnstile to be deployed where permanent construction is not practical and relocated as the project progresses. The all-steel construction is designed to withstand the demanding conditions of an active jobsite while providing controlled pedestrian access at perimeter and fence-line entrances.

Two-Lane Pedestrian Access

The tandem configuration provides two full-height pedestrian lanes, allowing separate controlled passage for increased site traffic. The two lanes can be used for employee and visitor access, controlled entry and exit, or one-way pedestrian movement.

One-to-one passage control helps prevent unauthorized entry and tailgating while maintaining an efficient pedestrian flow.

Portable Jobsite Security

Unlike a permanently installed full-height turnstile, this portable configuration is designed to be deployed and repositioned as construction requirements change.

Integrated forklift pockets allow the assembly to be moved efficiently around the jobsite. Temporary fence connection points allow the turnstile to be incorporated directly into a temporary perimeter security system.

This makes it particularly useful for construction projects where fencing, entrances and pedestrian traffic patterns change throughout the project.

Integrated Access Control

The turnstile is designed to integrate with virtually any access-control system, providing a controlled physical entrance that can work with the project's selected security hardware and software.

An integrated electronics enclosure provides a convenient location for access-control equipment, reducing the need for separate equipment cabinets and unnecessary conduit and cabling at the entrance.

Installation and Deployment

The portable design eliminates the need for a conventional permanent turnstile foundation during normal deployment. The unit is positioned on a suitable, stable surface and can be moved using its integrated forklift pockets.

For projects requiring permanent electrical service, trenching and conduit can be incorporated into the site plan. Where a permanent installation is desired, concrete preparation, drilling and anchoring can also be incorporated as appropriate.

Temporary fencing can be connected directly to the turnstile, creating a continuous controlled pedestrian opening within the perimeter.
