Portable Full Height Construction Turnstile

The portable full height construction turnstile provides a secure, controlled pedestrian entrance for active construction sites and other temporary or changing facilities. Its compact design combines full-height physical security with integrated access-control provisions, allowing it to be deployed without the complexity of a conventional permanent turnstile installation.

The all-steel construction is designed for the demanding conditions of construction sites, while the compact portable design makes it practical for perimeter and fence-line security, employee and visitor access, time and attendance, loss prevention and unmanned entrances.

Portable Jobsite Security

The turnstile is designed for fast deployment and relocation as a construction project progresses. Forklift pockets are incorporated into the unit to simplify transportation and positioning around the jobsite.

Integrated connection points allow the turnstile to be incorporated directly into temporary construction fencing, creating a controlled pedestrian opening within the site's perimeter.

Integrated Electronics

An onboard NEMA enclosure provides space for access-control equipment directly within the turnstile assembly. This can reduce the amount of separate equipment, conduit and cabling required at the entrance.

The turnstile can integrate with access-control systems, card readers, biometric readers and other credentialing technologies, allowing authorized personnel to be controlled at the jobsite entrance.

High Visibility and Integrated Lighting

The open design provides improved line of sight into the pedestrian lane, helping security personnel monitor activity at the entrance.

Integrated lighting provides additional illumination around the entrance and access-control equipment, improving visibility and safety during early-morning, nighttime and low-light construction operations.

Scalable Jobsite Access

The portable turnstile can be deployed as a single controlled entrance or expanded as site requirements change. A field connection system allows multiple units to be connected, providing a scalable solution for larger construction sites and changing pedestrian traffic requirements.

This makes the system particularly useful when entrances need to move or expand as construction phases progress.

Indoor or Outdoor

The portable full height turnstile is designed for outdoor construction environments and can also be used in indoor or covered applications where a portable full-height security entrance is appropriate.

Standard and custom color options are available, allowing the unit to be coordinated with the project's temporary fencing, site identification or corporate colors.

Installation

The portable design simplifies installation by eliminating the need for a conventional permanent turnstile foundation during normal deployment.

The unit is positioned on a suitable, stable surface and can be moved using the integrated forklift provisions. Electrical and access-control connections are made at the entrance rather than requiring extensive permanent site infrastructure.

For installations requiring permanent electrical service, trenching and conduit can be incorporated into the site plan. Temporary installations can be configured to minimize site disruption and allow the entrance to be relocated as required.
