Full Height Turnstile – Clear Arms and Yoke

This interior full height security turnstile provides controlled pedestrian access while maintaining a clean, modern appearance suited to architectural interiors. Clear rotating arms and a transparent side panel provide improved sightlines and a less industrial appearance than traditional all-metal full height turnstiles.

Designed for corporate offices, employee vestibules, government facilities, data centers, industrial facilities and other restricted interior areas, the turnstile provides one-person passage control and can integrate with virtually any access-control or visitor-management system.

Architectural Full Height Design

The combination of clear polycarbonate panels, aluminum framing and a steel structural assembly provides a contemporary appearance while maintaining the physical security expected from a full height turnstile.

The rotating section is designed for smooth, controlled movement with automatic self-centering after each passage. A speed-control mechanism regulates rotation according to the force applied by the user, helping prevent rapid rotation and rebound.

The design provides one-to-one passage control, helping deter tailgating and unauthorized passage.

Access Control Ready

The turnstile is access-control ready and can integrate with card readers, RFID credentials, biometric readers and visitor-management systems.

Built-in I/O can be used for functions such as passage confirmation, people counting and status signaling. A dedicated fire-system input and local override controls provide additional flexibility for emergency egress and facility operation.

Passage directions can be configured for free, controlled or locked operation, with each direction independently configurable for fail-safe or fail-secure operation.

Smooth and Controlled Operation

The mechanical operating system provides controlled rotation even when a user pushes aggressively against the rotating arms. The rotating assembly returns smoothly to its home position and locks into position for the next user.

This controlled movement helps reduce physical abuse, wear and unnecessary maintenance while providing a predictable experience for employees and visitors.

Installation

The turnstile is installed on a prepared floor surface and securely anchored to the building structure. Installation should be coordinated with the architectural, structural, electrical and access-control plans.

• Routing power and access-control wiring

For new construction, mounting locations and electrical/data pathways can be coordinated before the finished floor is installed.

Where wiring must approach the turnstile from below the finished floor, trenching, conduit or floor penetrations should be coordinated during construction.

Optional base plates and mounting accessories can be specified where appropriate for the installation.

Companion ADA Gate

All turnstiles can be ordered with a companion ADA gate with a 36" or 48" free passageway. This provides an accessible route adjacent to the controlled turnstile entrance.

Canopy Options

Canopies can provide an anti-climb-over feature while adding overhead protection to the entrance. A half canopy can be ordered when coverage is required on the entry side only.
