Vehicle-Guard XXL, Ultra Wide Barrier Gate – to 33'

The Vehicle Pro XXL Ultra-Wide Barrier Gate is designed for extra-wide vehicle entrances where a standard parking barrier is not sufficient. With barrier openings up to approximately 33 feet (10.0 m), it is suited for wide commercial entrances, freight facilities, company grounds, industrial properties, ports and other locations where a single barrier must control a large vehicle opening.

Arms can be cut down and capped either at the factory before shipping or at the field.

Access Control Ready

Access Control Ready: Compatible with any and all access control systems where a low-voltage or dry-contact signal is presented by the control panel to open the barrier gate.

The automatic barrier can integrate with card readers, RFID readers, keypads, intercoms, long-range vehicle readers, license-plate recognition systems, remote controls and other access-control or parking-management equipment capable of providing the appropriate relay signal.

The modular control system provides individually configurable inputs and outputs and includes five expansion slots for additional functions such as Ethernet communication, radio control and parking-space counting. The system also includes an integrated two-channel detector for induction loops for vehicle detection and traffic-control functions.

Ultra-Wide Barrier Operation

Designed for extra-wide vehicle entrances, the barrier accommodates openings up to approximately 33 feet (10.0 m). Opening and closing times can be independently adjusted to 8, 10 or 12 seconds, allowing operation to be matched to the entrance layout and traffic requirements.

For locations requiring additional perimeter control, an optional security boom skirt with climb-over prevention is available. This barrier is intended for vehicle access control and should not be represented as a crash-rated vehicle barrier unless a specific tested crash rating is documented for the project.
