Custom Sized "up to 60" Wide ADA Gate

This Stainless Steel Swing Gate provides a rugged, attractive and economical solution for controlling pedestrian traffic in commercial and institutional facilities. Designed for both interior and exterior applications, this heavy-duty gate combines durable stainless steel construction with a clean, professional appearance.

The gate is available in custom widths from 20" to 60", making it suitable for both standard pedestrian openings and ADA-compliant access. A typical ADA configuration provides a 36" clear passageway. Custom non-ADA widths can also be supplied where a narrower opening is required.

Manual or Access-Controlled Operation

The gate can be supplied as a completely manual gate requiring no electrical power, or with an electromagnetic locking system for controlled entry or exit.

The gate swings 90 degrees in one direction and incorporates a heavy-duty, adjustable self-closing hinge. After a person passes through, the gate automatically returns to the closed position.

When equipped with the optional electromagnetic lock, the gate can interface with virtually any access control system, including:

• Card readers
• Keypads and PIN readers
• Push buttons
• Intercom systems
• Remote release devices
• Other access control systems providing the appropriate release signal

The electromagnetic locking configuration is fail-safe, allowing free passage in the event of a power failure.

Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Construction

The gate and posts are constructed from 2" OD (outside diameter) 304 stainless steel tubing with smooth, rounded corners.

The hinge post and matching latch/stop post are securely mounted using heavy-duty 1/4" thick stainless steel base plates. Decorative brushed stainless steel flange covers conceal the mounting plates and hardware for a clean, finished appearance.

The gate can be floor-mounted using posts or configured for wall mounting where appropriate.

Custom Sizes and Matching Rail Sections

Gate widths can be custom sized from 20" to 60" tip-to-tail. Matching stainless steel post-and-rail sections are also available and can be custom sized to close off adjacent open areas and create a complete pedestrian-control installation.
