Manual Gate, Mechanical 1-Way Chrome

This manual one-way swing gate provides a simple and durable way to control pedestrian traffic without electrical power. Designed for entrance or exit applications, the gate allows passage in a single direction and can be configured for either left-hand or right-hand operation.

A mechanical closing system automatically returns the gate arm after passage, helping maintain the intended traffic pattern without requiring a powered operator or access-control system. The gate is well suited for retail stores, grocery stores, public facilities and other controlled pedestrian entrances or exits.

Mechanical Self-Closing Operation

The gate uses a mechanical spring mechanism with controlled closing to provide smooth operation. The closing speed can be adjusted, helping the gate return to its normal position without slamming. Because the system is completely mechanical, no electrical connection is required.

An emergency breakaway feature allows the gate to swing beyond its normal operating direction when required for emergency egress. The gate is available in accessible passage widths as well as custom gate-arm lengths for project-specific requirements.

Construction and Finish

The gate features durable steel construction with a bright chrome finish. A white ABS sign panel and channels are incorporated into the gate arm, providing a visible surface for directional or entrance/exit signage. Satin chrome and other finish options are also available within the product family.

The gate can be installed independently or combined with compatible posts and railing to create a complete pedestrian traffic-control layout.

Installation

The gate is designed for surface mounting to a suitable structural floor. Anchor bolts secure the floor mounting flange, with a cover concealing the mounting hardware for a finished appearance. Final gate location, passage width and left- or right-hand swing should be established before drilling and anchoring.

Because operation is mechanical, no electrical power, conduit or access-control wiring is required, making this gate particularly useful for retrofit installations and locations where electrical infrastructure is unnecessary.
