Bi-Folding Gate - High Security - 2 or 4 Panel

The Bi-Folding Gate - High Security - 2 or 4 Panel is a vehicle access-control solution for secured entrances where space, speed, and appearance are important. Its compact folding design limits the space required for gate movement, while an approximately eight-second opening time supports efficient vehicle passage. It is well suited to airports, seaports, industrial properties, water treatment facilities, and public transportation sites. With no overhead track, the entrance remains clear above for trucks and other tall vehicles.

Two-panel configurations fold toward one side of the entrance, while four-panel configurations open from the center to both sides. Drive motors are secured inside the supporting columns, and customizable panel infill allows the gate to complement surrounding fencing and architecture. Hot-dip galvanizing provides a durable finish, with optional powder coating. Battery backup and hydraulic operation are available as options.

Panel Heights and Configurations

• 6 ft high: Passage ways up to 11 ft 6 in with two panels, or 23 ft with four panels.
• 8 ft high: Passage ways up to 11 ft 6 in with two panels, or 23 ft with four panels.
• 10 ft high: Passage ways to 9 ft with two panels, or 18 ft with four panels.

Maximum dimensions depend on panel weight, infill, wind exposure, and site requirements.

Infill Options

Choose from standard vertical pickets, optional welded wire, or woven wire infill to complement surrounding fencing and the entrance’s appearance. Vertical pickets provide a traditional barred design, while wire infill creates a mesh pattern that maintains visibility through the gate. Final infill selection depends on gate dimensions, panel weight, and site requirements.

Installation

Installation requires prepared concrete foundations, accurate anchor placement using the supplied template drawings, and suitable lifting equipment to position the columns and panels. Both foundations must be at the same elevation, and the gate assemblies must be leveled and aligned before final adjustments. Allow equipment access around the entrance, and install warning signs where they are visible from both sides.
