4-Arm Turnstile – Curved Arm Anti-Crawl

This 4-arm waist-high turnstile is designed for controlled pedestrian exit applications where greater physical restriction is desired than with a conventional 3-arm turnstile. Four rotating arms create 90-degree sections around the hub, maintaining a more complete barrier throughout rotation, while the curved-arm design helps discourage crawl-under passage and unauthorized bypass.

The turnstile is particularly suited for retail stores, supermarkets, controlled checkout areas and other interior pedestrian-control locations. Its mechanical design provides quiet, smooth operation without electrical power or access-control wiring.

Mechanical One-Way Operation

The turnstile operates mechanically in one direction and can be configured for either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation to match the required pedestrian traffic flow. The four-arm arrangement also provides increased resistance to tailgating by maintaining a more restricted opening during rotation.

For additional physical security, an optional tall anti-vault-over end post and yoke assembly can help discourage passage over the turnstile.

Finish and Railing Options

A bright chrome finish provides a clean appearance for retail and other finished interior environments. Optional factory-attached double-rail outlets allow compatible post-and-rail systems to connect directly to the turnstile for a coordinated pedestrian-control layout.

Installation

The turnstile is designed for surface mounting to a level, structurally suitable floor and is supplied with bolt and anchor sets for installation. Because standard operation is entirely mechanical, electrical conduit and access-control wiring are not required.
