Optical Turnstiles, Horizontal Barrier Arms

This elegant optical turnstile with horizontally shifting bars has thin cabinets with 1" square stainless steel hollow arms. Designed in Scandinavia but made in the USA, these are top of the line turnstiles.  The arms move silently, and away from the person to rest smoothly in the cabinet, moving in the direction the person is walking.

Its slim end cabinets are only 6.5" wide for standard or ADA lanes. Easily customized cabinet lids in RAL Colors (Corian)or standard stainless steel make these stylish and compatible with any lobby.  Cabinet lengths are 42", 48", 60" or 72" long.  Cabinet height is 37.66".

The compact floor footprint allows more lanes to fit in a smaller space. Center expansion cabinets have the same dimensions as end cabinets, allowing space saving multi-lane configurations whether providing standard lane width of 28" passage width or an ADA-compliant 36" passage widths.

When an authorized user presents a valid credential, a chime sounds, and the arms open quickly and precisely, moving 'away' from the user in the same direction the user is travelling.   

As an alternative, the arms can be set to be open all of the time and only sound audible alerts. This setting can be changed remotely by a push button by the user to return to the standard, always closed, position.

Add the option for our remote touchscreen or desktop controller for a guard's desk to control the turnstiles remotely.

Another option is for a double-arms (see photo) configuration.

We can also provide matching Posts with Clear Infill Barriers to fill-in space on the left or right sides of these turnstiles when required. All clear panels on both the turnstiles and barriers can have your logo etched as an option.

This security turnstile is highly intuitive for users and staff. Illuminated status icons on the lid and audible sounds prompt users, and provide clear notification of card acceptance or rejection.
