The Automatic Bollards – High Security provide a powerful vehicle barrier solution for locations where controlling access is not enough and the entrance or perimeter must be protected against vehicle impact.

Designed for airports, embassies, banks, ports, government facilities, and other high-security properties, these automatically retractable bollards combine physical vehicle protection with controlled access. When raised, the bollards create a formidable barrier against unauthorized vehicles. When access is authorized, they retract below the surface to allow traffic to pass.

The high-security automatic bollards have been tested and certified to ASTM F2656-07 for impact resistance. A single bollard is capable of stopping a truck weighing more than 15,000 lbs., making this system suitable for security-sensitive entrances where vehicle intrusion protection is a primary concern.

Automatic Hydraulic Operation

The bollards are designed for reliable automatic operation and can be integrated into a vehicle access control system. They can be used with compatible access control equipment to regulate authorized vehicle entry and restrict unauthorized traffic.

For locations requiring rapid emergency deployment, an Emergency Fast Operation (EFO) configuration is available. The EFO version can raise the bollard in approximately 1.5 seconds, providing rapid perimeter protection when immediate security response is required.
