Waist High Gate – Clear Infill, Electric 1-Way

This electric waist-high pedestrian gate with clear infill provides a wide, controlled passage for accessible pedestrian traffic, deliveries and other applications requiring an alternative to passage through a turnstile. The clear acrylic panel maintains visibility through the gate while providing a more enclosed appearance than an open-bar design.

The gate provides approximately a 36" clear passage and opens in one direction. A heavy-duty hydraulic closure returns the gate smoothly to the closed position, while the electric locking system allows passage to be controlled by an access-control system or remote push button.

Clear Infill and Electric Operation

The gate is constructed from 304 stainless steel with a clear acrylic panel secured within the welded gate frame. A lower kick plate is provided on both sides for wheelchair and cart traffic. The clear-panel configuration is well suited as a companion to waist-high and optical turnstiles, providing wider passage while maintaining an open architectural appearance.

An electromagnetic lock with approximately 600 lbs. of holding force secures the gate in the closed position. The electric version is fail-safe and automatically unlocks upon loss of power to provide free egress.

Access Control Ready: Compatible with any and all access control systems where a low-voltage or dry-contact signal is presented by the control panel to release the gate for passage. The electric locking version supports relay-controlled integration with access-control systems and push buttons.

The gate is available in satin stainless steel or powder-coated finishes. Optional railing outlets can be added to the hinge or latch post for connection to compatible 1.75" railing systems.

Installation

The gate is supplied as a framed assembly with separate hinge and latch posts for anchoring to a suitable structural floor. The required left- or right-hand swing direction must be specified when ordering. Installation should coordinate the gate swing, post locations, power and low-voltage access-control wiring before drilling and anchoring.

The electric version requires 110–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz input power, with the locking/control system operating at low voltage.
