Motorized Tandem Gate, 2-Way, with Alarm

This remarkable gate is a slim, automatic opening gate used where pedestrians can enter one direction but not exit.  Often used in a tandem gate configuration for airports, department stores, supermarkets where customers can enter with a shopping cart for example, but not exit the same way (without an attendant pressing a push button).

This motorized gate can also be order as a single gate.

Standard posts and rails are included for either the single or tandem gate(s).  The sensors will sense a pedestrian entering the 3' entering-area and open if programmed to open.  However, the posts and railing provide a 3' area in the other direction as well.  A radar will sense a pedestrian entering the wrong direction and sound an alarm. An attendant can authorize their exiting with a push button.

The posts and railing create an approximate 3' area as a buffer zone in both directions and does not alarm (when exiting) or open (when entering) when a passerby walks by the area outside of the 3' area.

When the gate is pushed in reverse direction, a breakout audio alarm releases a high pitched noise for 5 seconds alerting staff to a potential shop lifting. 

Easy to configure for store layouts and can be integrated into existing systems. In the event of power loss gate can be moved manually in either or both directions.

Materials:

All materials meet the ASTM standards as set forth by the materials industry.

• The gate post is constructed out of 1/8" wall, 4" diameter DOM tube.
• Arm closing controlled by motor, speed is 10RPM.
• Standard gate arm lengths for ADA compliant.
• Complete with white ABS sign panel and channels to hold sign.
• Anchor bolts are hidden by cover which snaps over the floor mounting flange.
• Custom gate arm length can be fabricated.
