Parking Pro Articulated Arm Barrier Gate

The Parking Pro Articulated Arm Barrier Gate is a high-speed automatic vehicle barrier designed for parking garages, commercial entrances, residential communities and other locations where overhead clearance is limited. With articulated arm configurations available for openings up to approximately 16 feet, the barrier provides controlled vehicle access while allowing the arm to fold upward or back toward the cabinet when a conventional straight arm cannot be accommodated.

The high-performance magnetic-drive system provides smooth, quiet operation with opening times as fast as approximately 1.3 seconds, depending on arm length and configuration. An integrated two-channel vehicle detector and modular control system allow the barrier to integrate with access-control and parking-management equipment.

Articulated Arm Options

90° Articulated Arm
The arm folds upward during operation, reducing the vertical space required above the entrance. This configuration is well suited for parking garages, covered entrances, canopies and other low-clearance locations.

180° Articulated Arm
The arm folds back toward the barrier cabinet, making it useful where space above and around the entrance is restricted, including tight parking areas and basement entrances.

Available articulated arm lengths include approximately 10, 12, 14 and 16 feet, depending on the selected configuration.

Installation and Clearance

Articulated barrier gates require careful planning around overhead and rear clearance. A 90° folding arm requires sufficient vertical space above the cabinet, while a 180° configuration requires adequate clearance behind the barrier. Final arm length, folding geometry, foundation dimensions and clearance requirements should be verified for the selected configuration before installation.
