This gate is a 2-way, motorized gate with a stainless steel post and a crystal-clear cast acrylic panel. The gate opens a full 36" for an ADA compliant passageway.
The panels are available in two heights, 35" and 46". Your corporate logo can be etched into the clear panel adding an elegance and branding of the gate.
The gate opens smoothly when activated without the user needing to touch the gate. The length of time the gate stays open is configurable.
This pedestrian gate integrates with virtually any access control system or visitor management system or push button. Card readers are normally located on a wall or pedestal in front of the gate.
The panel is driven by a powerful brushless DC motor with closed loop control to monitor position every 1/1000 of a second, providing smooth, quiet and precise movement.
A dedicated fire system input is provided so your alarm can signal the gate to open and remain open in the exit direction. Also upon loss of power, the gate can be moved freely in either direction with very minimal force. When the gate is forced open without authorization, an alarm can sound. Likewise if the gate senses an obstruction in its path, its motion will stop until the obstruction is removed.
Option: two gates can be installed in tandem, effectively doubling the clear passage width to 72” (order as Tandem Gate).
The gate is designed to operate in conjunction with an access control system or any device that can provide a dry contact output (such as a push button). The gate can open in one direction for exiting only, or it can open in both directions for entering and exiting.
An optional motion detector can be added to the exit side to allow automatic opening upon exit. A Push-to-Exit button can be supplied for installation on a wall or pedestal.
