"Entrance" Turnstile, 1-Direction, Chrome
Product Description
This 4-arm waist-high entrance turnstile provides simple, reliable one-way pedestrian traffic control for retail stores and other public-access environments. The four-arm rotating section operates smoothly and quietly with minimal hand pressure, providing an effective way to direct customers through a designated entrance.
The turnstile is particularly suited for supermarkets, drug stores, retail stores, cafeterias, amusement facilities, health clubs and other interior pedestrian-control applications. It can be integrated with pedestrian gates, posts and railing to create a coordinated entrance and traffic-flow system.
Mechanical One-Way Operation
The turnstile operates mechanically in one direction and requires no electrical power for standard operation. It is supplied for clockwise rotation but can be changed in the field to counterclockwise rotation, allowing the direction of passage to be matched to the entrance layout.
The four-arm configuration provides controlled pedestrian movement while maintaining simple, low-maintenance mechanical operation.
Construction, Finish and Railing Options
Solid-steel construction and durable internal components are designed for frequent pedestrian use. The bright chrome finish provides a clean appearance for retail and other finished interior environments.
The turnstile includes the rotating arms, yoke, horizontal rail and end posts. Factory-attached rail outlets are also available for connection to compatible post-and-rail systems, allowing the complete entrance layout to be coordinated as one pedestrian-control system.
Installation
The turnstile is designed for surface mounting to a firm, level concrete floor. Current installation specifications call for a concrete slab at least 4" deep. Final placement should be coordinated with adjacent gates, railing and pedestrian clearances before drilling.
Because operation is entirely mechanical, electrical conduit and access-control wiring are not required for standard operation.
